About Aidan Bevan
Certified Junior Gymnastics Coach and competitive gymnast specializing in early childhood development and inclusive gymnastics. Working with young children of all abilities, Aidan creates nurturing, adaptive programs that celebrate each child's unique journey.
Biography
Aidan Bevan began his journey in gymnastics at a young age, developing a deep understanding of the sport through years of training and competition. His passion for gymnastics naturally evolved into a desire to coach and mentor the next generation of athletes.
For over six years, Aidan has been an integral member of the Pinetown Gymnastics “Wild Dogs” Club, where he has competed at both provincial and national levels across South Africa. This competitive experience has given him invaluable insights into the dedication, discipline, and technical precision required to excel in gymnastics.
In 2025, Aidan achieved his certification as a Junior Gymnastics Coach, marking the beginning of his professional coaching career focused on early childhood development. He trains young children at Pinetown Gymnastics and collaborates with several surrounding preschools, introducing age-appropriate gymnastics fundamentals through play-based learning.
Aidan is deeply committed to inclusive gymnastics and works extensively with children with disabilities. He volunteers at Khanyisa School for the Disabled and leads specialized classes for children with Down syndrome every Saturday. This inclusive approach reflects his core belief that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and developmental benefits of gymnastics, regardless of ability.
